From Lima to the Rockies
Mily grew up in Magdalena del Mar in Lima, three blocks from the Pacific, in a big family with cousins always coming and going. Every family gathering meant a crowded table, usually with her favorite, arroz con pollo and papa a la huancaína, and plenty of dancing, especially the marinera. When she moved to Colorado in 2017, she traded the ocean for the mountains, but she brought that warm Latina welcome with her. It's the same one she gives everyone who comes up to enjoy our beloved view, or vista amada.
Raised in Evergreen
Danny grew up in nearby Evergreen, and these mountains have always been his backyard. He had his first camera by age 11 and has been chasing the light ever since, from the Colorado Rockies to the mountains around Cusco. Every photo on this site is his.

Since 2020
Our paths crossed in Peru in 2015, during one of Danny's work trips. Five years later, we found this house above Genesee. A family built it in 1973 and loved it for 47 years, and we feel lucky every evening when the sun goes down behind the Indian Peaks. Our dog, Bella, will probably be the first to say hello.
We both speak Spanish fluently, so you can plan your session with us in Spanish or English, from the first message to the last photo. Planning a quinceañera? Our quinceañera page has ideas for portraits here.
Come meet us, see the light, and tell us what you're planning. We hope that when you leave, it feels like you've been visiting family.
