The busiest sessions of our year. Snow-dusted pines, the stone chimney and the peaks make a backdrop that already looks like a card.

Daytime sessions have soft, easy light and fit around nap schedules. Kids can explore the forest between shots.

Grandparents, cousins, friends. The deck and patio fit a big group in one frame, and there's parking for about 12 cars.

Where you'll shoot

The deck facing the Continental Divide, the stone chimney, the flagstone patio and 1.7 acres of ponderosa forest. Most families use two or three spots in one session.

A few tips

We can't promise snow, but when it comes, the forest turns into a holiday card on its own.

Bring the dog. Pets are welcome in family photos.

Pack warm layers. Mountain weather changes fast at 7,630 feet, especially after sunset.

Same rates as every photo session: from $150 an hour, golden hour from $250 an hour, with a two-hour minimum. See all rates.

Check a date

Tell us roughly when, how many people (and pets) are coming, and whether you're after golden hour. We'll come back to you with availability and the light window for that day.
