Bring a few outfitsThe ponderosa forest gives you soft, even shade, even when the sun is high. Step onto the deck for a wider shot with the Indian Peaks behind you, or use the stone wall and patio for something warmer. We don't have headshots from here to show you yet, so these are the spots you'd be using.
Headshots don't need golden hour. The forest shade works well even in the middle of the day, so a daytime session is often all you need.
Bring two or three tops in solid colors, plus a warm layer. It can be windy at 7,630 feet, so a comb and hair ties help.
Bring your own photographer, have Danny take your photos, or ask us for names of local photographers whose work we like.
